"Having owned a digital SLR for about six years, I decided I really should start using it for something other than family snapshots. It was an easy decision for me to choose See Life Through The Lens - the images in the online galleries are stunning, and I really wanted to be able to get similar results in my own photography. The weekend landscape course at Portland started with an hour on techniques on the evening of our arrival. This seemed a little daunting at the time but everything quickly fell into place once I was behind the viewfinder over the next two days, and with some timely prompts and gentle encouragement I really felt I had come on leaps and bounds by the end of the course.
